Weathershield Quick Dry Undercoat from Dulux guarantees 10 year weather protection when used with Weathershield Exterior Gloss or Satin. Touch dry in 2 hours. This flexible undercoat is specially formulated for use on wood to resist cracking, providing the perfect base for the top coat gloss.
Apply 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Undercoat to primed surfaces with a brush. Finish with 1 or 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Gloss. Some dark colours may need a further coat. TIP: it is advisable to only use light colours on south facing resinous wood. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10 degrees Celsius and when bad weather is not forecast.
Contains – 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one and C(M)IT/MIT(3:1). – May produce an allergic reaction.

Step 1: Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean (no dirt, grease or flaking paint) and dry. Sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Areas affected by mould, algae, fungi or lichen should be treated with an appropriate fungicidal wash. Prepare bare wood with Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer+ (BP), wiping off any excess. Prepare bare metal with Dulux Primer & Undercoat for Multi Surfaces. Surface defects should be repaired using the appropriate Polycell product.
Step 2: Remove paint from the brush with a cloth and then wash with water.
Step 3: Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
